Bio from Induction

Anna Filardi, a 1974 graduate and music education major was a member of the Bear’s swim team. While at Potsdam she qualified for state, regional, and national competitions. She was a state finalist in four individual events and two relay events.
           
Holding Master of Science Degrees in both Music Education and Educational Administration. Filardi is currently assistant principal at Grand Avenue School in Uniondale’s Lawrence road Middle School and Turtle Hook Junior High.
           
Filadrdi has been employed in the field of education since the completion of her undergraduate degree. Prior to administrative positions in the Schenectady and Uniondale school systems, she was a music instructor at both Albany High School and Albany’s Hackett Middle School.
