In the spirit of today’s great female athletes, Anne Donto Chrzanowski was surely ahead of her time.

Anne Donato Chrzanowski was a swimmer at Potsdam from 1982-85. She was a member of the SUNYAC Championship team in 1983-84. Anne holds school records in the 100- and 200-meter butterfly, the 100-meter breast stroke and the 400-meter individual medley, and was part of a record-setting 800-meter freestyle relay team.

Anne is a four-time All-American and was awarded the SUNYAC Most Valuable Swimmer Award for the 1984 and 1985 seasons.

Anne spent only three years at Potsdam and finished out her career across the village at Clarkson University.  After graduating with a degree in engineering and management, Anne went on to work with Delphi Thermal Systems.

Anne lives with her husband, Mike, and their two children, Nicole and Mathew, in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
