Don Swan was Captain of the Men’s Basketball team in 1932 and 1933, where he played the guard position for Coach John Maxcy.
In 1933, Don helped lead the team to a 10-3 record and for his efforts was awarded a Varsity letter and a sweater.
Don was also an excellent baseball player. He played the catcher position, and in 1933 filled two roles for Coach Maxcy as not only a player, but also as an assistant.
Since graduation in 1935, Don has been a teacher in the Dependent School in Naples, Italy and has also taught in Harrisville, Amityville, and Manhasset, New York.
